This is a special place where you, the general Public, can come and see, hear and read about some of our memories. Sharing these stories is very personal, and can be difficult for some of us to put out there, while other memories, well, we just need to get them out there into the world so that a small piece of history is not forgotten!

Service in the US Military is like no other experience in the world! Less than 1% of Americans will wear the uniform of our country and write their name to a check that states that they are willing to give their very lives, to support and defend this great land. A veteran’s time in uniform can be as short as 2 years, or as long as 40! The Veterans of Loudoun County VFW Post 1177 have served around the world across all branches of our military, and in all kinds of jobs and situations during the course of that service. And, during this time they have participated in, or been exposed to a multitude of experiences that can span the gauntlet from Happy to Sad, Wild to Crazy, and some memories that will just knock your socks off!
